I think I belong to a number of categories. This is because I wear some of the clothes that skaters wear, for example, Stussy, Palace and Vans. Also, I love sports, mainly football! I would say I also belong to that category but don't take it as seriously as I maybe should do. I would also say I belong to the trackies category as I like some of there brands. The brans I like are; Adidas, Nike, Xbox 360 and I watch MTV. Lastly, I would associate myself with New Casuals as I have a season ticket at the City with my friends and go to some away days. Also, I wear some of the clothing brands, for example, Levis, Norse Projects, Carhartt and Nike.


                                    


I think that the way I dress and the way that Rizzle Kicks dress are similar as they wear more streetwear brands including Stussy, Norse Projects and Adidas. Also, I like the way David Beckham dresses as he always looks the best wherever he is and always looks very smart. I like the way Kanye West dresses because I like the look of longer tee's and baggy tops but I think they only suit certain people and Kanye West is certainly one of them.


                                




I look out for what certain celebrities are wearing because I am always looking for new clothes. this help me pick out what I like even if it is just a similar thing to what they are wearing. It also gives me ideas on what to look out for while I am out shopping. Rizzle Kicks usually dress in the same brand of clothing that I do so it is good to look out for their outfits.

Lester Burnham - Representation

Lester is the main character in the film 'American Beauty' which was released in 1999.

My first impressions of Lester were that he lived a very subdued man who is single. Also, he looks very dull as his bedroom is all the same dull colour with no real life about it. Lester appears to be very discontent with his life from the very start of the film. Then, the theory I first thought was being backed up as he then went into the shower and explained the highlight of his day was when he jacked off and from then on it went downhill. However, we came to find out that Lester had a wife which came as a shock to me as I had already painted up a picture of Lester and in that picture he was single, although Lester doesn't like his wife. Lester speaks about his wife in a very negative which shows he is in a passionless and loveless relationship. Lester's posture is very poor as he slouches, he is also very lazy and lacks lots of confidence.

His family do not respect him at all he should be the man of the family and be respected and be in control but he is not respected and also isn't in control as his wife wears the trousers in the relationship. Another thing I picked up on with Lester is that he is trapped. He is always shown behind bars or enclosed something which is very good use of camera angles. Also, this even happens at his work as well as his own home. Lester's voice has a monotonous tone to it and on the whole is a very sad person. However, i believe Lester's life is about to take a turn for the better.

Films

 

Goal! The Dream Begins – I love this film as it is about Football, which I love to play, and at that time it came out, I played at a high standard. This is what lures me into this film and the way it is presented I think it is a great story.

Fast and Furious 6 – This film is all action and I love that. The mission that is set is a great one and the way they pull it off is brilliant.

American Hustle – this film involves lots of thinking which is what intrigued me about it and I seemed to enjoy this a lot surprisingly.

Inbetweeners Movie 1 – This film is brilliant as it is hilarious and is set abroad as a lad’s holiday and I never stopped laughing throughout the duration of the movie.

21 Jump Street – This film has lots of funny clips and brings friends together. Also, they complete the mission set with many funny hic ups across the way.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

TV series

 

Prison Break – Action, Tension and genius come to mind when thinking of this. It is a brilliant show that you can never tell what will happen next. This is a brilliant series to watch.

Uncle – A comical serious of an Uncle and nephew who both don’t act their own age and has many funny sketches throughout.

Dream Team – This is a great footballing TV series that was all about a fictional team and their players day to day life, good and bad.

May Day – A great series that is short but very sweet. Involves lots of thinking and keeps you guessing on the outcome.

The Inbetweeners – This 3 series show is my favourite of all time. The 4 lads are hilarious and never fail to make viewers laugh uncontrollably.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Brands

 

Adidas – Known for a fantastic range of shoes of all types. Also, a great range of clothing to pick from.

Nike – great for shoes with a variety to choose from. Also, has a big range of clothing also. I like it most for their football boots that I have and have had many of.

Ralph Lauren – great range of tops, polo’s and jackets. I have a few items of clothing that I love.

Fred Perry – An iconic brand that has been around for ages. I like the clothing and I also have a few items of clothing that is Fred Perry.

Billionaire Boys Club – This brand has lots of tops and jackets/hoods that I love. I have a few items of this brand that I really am happy with.
